Drop Shadows and Other CSS Issues
Thursday, February 14, 2008
The boxes around each of these articles have a small drop shadow designed to add a bit of visual depth to the site. Unfortunately, IE 7 has a tendency to mess these up pretty bad. Until I get them fixed, I would ask that you please view this site in any of the following browsers: IE 6, Firefox 2, Opera 9. However, the green box around the title looks too big in IE 6, and the article dates are simply missing. In IE 7 and FireFox, the dates are just below where they're supposed to be. So the moral here is: Opera rules for CSS!
Seriously though, I'll be working on fixing the site to look better in non-compliant browsers. Until then, I apologize for the mess.
Update: I got rid of the drop shadows and was able to fix the article date issue. For those of you still using IE 6, you should probably upgrade to one of the other browsers mentioned here. They're all free.
