Getting Medieval on Your Sims

by Craig Olsen

Friday, August 20, 2010

On August 3rd 2010, EA Games announced a new game on their website.: The Sims Medieval.

The article itself is pretty... well... short and chintzy. But it does promise the ability to create a kingdom, go on quests, and make heroes. I hope this is going to be as awesome as it sounds. Hooray for micromanaging! Expect this game on PC and Mac in March of 2011.

Hello everyone! I figured I'd write a quick article because I found something pretty cool here:

It's the article you've all been waiting for!

Okay, so it isn't really. But I've been playing League of Legends for a while so I figured I'd talk a little bit about it. League of Legends

If you liked the Defense of the Ancients map in Warcraft 3, you should check this out.

Hello everyone! It seems like many blogs out there on the Internet are posting about this particular game, but I felt like if anyone on this blog should be posting about this game, then it should be me.

The game in question is Super Mario Crossover! This is a flash game that you can find at Newgrounds, and for many of us, it's quite a blast from the past going back to that site. Feel free to click on the image for a direct link to the game.

If I were Bowser Koopa, I would just quit right now.

I suppose you could add this to my "Independent Action" series, but I couldn't resist the title.

Minecraft

One of the many sights of the Ending B Minecraft server!

Does that image tickle your fancy? How about being able to build almost whatever you can think of? Are you a lego sort of person? Then this game is made for you! Also it's written in Java, so that's really cool in my book. But we'll find out more after the FOLD!

Diablo II and Median XL

by Ed Van Loon

Friday, April 23, 2010

Hello everyone! I've been trying to keep my updates at least weekly so you can marvel at all the awesome things that I happen to find.

First of all, let's take a look at this: My Median XL character

This is actually a rather noobish character in Median XL.

Read my full featured and incredibly awesome review of this modification (and a short look back at Diablo II) after the FOLD!

Things I Love, Things I Hate

by Eric Kociecki

Things I love: Love.
Things I hate: monthly fees to play games.
Things that put the above in perspective: Eskil's rants.
Things that were released today: Love

A screenshot from the game Love. This is an outdoor scene showing grass, rock outcroppings, some players, and the games impressionist art style.

This game has held me captivated sine I first saw it about two years ago

See? What did I tell you? Easy access! Unlike Bitworld, I actually spent quite a bit of time playing RunMan, and figured it deserved a more lengthy review. Click on the picture for a link to the main website.

Independent Action: Bitworld

by Ed Van Loon

Friday, March 5, 2010

I have a few indie games that I would like to talk about, but I figured I would split them up into their own individual posts for easy access (and I love easy access)!

Bitworld: a 2D/3D Roguelike

Hot Dungeon Crawling action!

There's not much to say, the controls are simple, the dungeon is randomized, and you'll have a bunch of stuff thrown at you, so if you're into these kind of games, go for it. You can download it HERE.

Enjoy!
